Has anyone had any luck replacing their oil pan with the military type? Mine is rusted out and the best condition/price seems to be the military version but it has a different shape and I think you'd have to modify the oil pickup maybe.

By the time you buy a new pickup tube you will probably be better off just biting the bullet on the correct pan.
