this just started happening. the connections are ok. if you short the wire to the gauge that the sender is on it scrolls high like it should. i ran a jumper to the sender on the genny and it works. the sender ohms out to 1.1k ohms which is in spec.

so i have a bad wire from the sender to the gauge over the driver. not gonna be any fun to run new one. sounds like a wintertime project

This happened to me when I first bought the coach for several months and couldn't even get a temp reading on the gauge until and after I had it serviced it was only reading "low" all the time and started showing temps after a full service of everything including oil, all filters, belts, rad cap and inspection of and tightening of all wires including a not so tight ground
