Hey guys,
Pulled this steering rod off our 2004 #684 — it's the one that links the two steering cranks. I have three photos: one under the coach, one close-up of the stamp, and one on the bench.
Only marking on it is 614610A plus a little chevron stamp. No manufacturer logo anywhere that I can find.
Also worth asking — are the ball joint ends rebuildable, or is it a whole rod replacement job?
I'm over in the UK so happy to sort shipping if anyone's got a lead or a spare gathering dust somewhere.
Cheers Lawrence

Well you could not be in a better place, that is most likely a Dana/Kirkstall UK front suspension. Look on your A-arms for the ID tag.
Here is what the tag looks like on mine:
Are you sure they are worn or loose? The reason I ask is because all of mine the castle nut was loose, the ball joint itself was tight. All I had to do was tighten the castle nuts and everything tightened up. Thought it would be worth mentioning. The bell cranks can also be tightened as well.

Our UK friend, you are in luck. First the factory that made the front end was in the UK, and according to my conversation with a DANA rep, razed in 2012. Translation no new parts.
However, the center tie rod has an adjustment in both ball joints. Measure the joint to joint distance for reassembly. Now unscrew both ends. One is left threaded. Peer inside the threaded section and you will discover a cross. Remove the cotter pin from the outside, and use a BIG screwdriver to adjust to you desired tightness.

Will be interesting to see if he is able to source parts over there easier than here. That would be good to know.
