As I am trying to get my hands on another brand rig, I have spent some time on the requisite forums. One of them even uses the same platform as Newellgurus. They are glitchy, really hard to post pics, and difficult to just read through the thread titles.
The point is that it makes me appreciate the behind the scenes work that Scott McCloud has done for years to make this platform run very well for the users.

Scott is amazing at all this. He does all the server related things and jumps in wherever help is needed. He set the whole thing up in 2012 when we started. BTW, he is a Major is the USAF and is an Electrical Engineer like his old man but much smarter....

Similar to Richard and others I've switched brands and turned to other forums to troubleshoot, etc. But none of the other forums have the same continuity and feeling of brotherhood that we have here. This I believe is due to Scott's hard work keeping it all together and of course Tom who puts forward such a feeling of brotherly love. Most other forums have people in charge who want to "be in charge" and set a different feeling in their forum. Not here.

Yeah , I find myself taking this site for granted. Thanks for the reminder, Richard! I echo the appreciation for Scott, Tom and moderators etc. who make it run smoothly.
