Mine broke last week as well. I found a used Lincoln pc on EB and also ordered a repop from a Mustang supply house. I’m thinking early 70’s Mustang used the same one. They should be here soon. I’ll advise.
On 316 the inside handle is the same part #.

This reminds me, my brother has a junk town car at his place, I am going to have him pull the door handles for me before he scraps the car.

yea they are common parts from the 80s. i replaced mine on the 90 when i had it
