Newer, High Mileage - Maint/Replacement Focuses?
#1
Information

Question for the collective wisdom of this forum.

Strongly looking at a 2009, which seems to have been proactively maintained (race circuit) but not improved.  The coach is 152,000 miles and has had things like:
  • Radiator Replaced
  • Both main air compressors (only last two years?)
  • Batteries
  • Tires
  • Alternator
  • Generator with 3,662 hours on it
It's been serviced by Newell, and he'll service it again prior to sale.  My question is what sort of components would you earmark for close inspection at that type of mileage?
  • How long would suspension airbags last?
  • What's a typical interval on brakes on these things?
  • The AC systems have been worked hard - would it be typical for one (or 4) to need replacement?
  • I know there are a couple of picture windows that need replacing.
  • It's running a C-15 with an Alison transmission
Any insights would be deeply appreciated!!!

my 2002 was an indy car coach. it has 8800 hours on the genny and it runs strong.

roof air cons are cheap. dont worry about them

i have 220k miles on my s60 no issues. these are high mileage engines. 150k is nothing

airbags are entirely situational.

brakes pads are easy to change. and easy to inspect.

In my opinion, better to have a coach that has been regularly used as opposed to sitting, even in a warehouse.

The interior will likely need some TLC, but that allows you to decorate to your taste.

My coach has 227K.
