i am sure i had water coming in where the side of the slide meets the top. i had nearly a quarter inch gap in places that was original and the sealant had degraded. when you come to visit, we can put it in the shop and use the genie lift to peel all that out. i replaced it with a marine grade adhesive. there is a post i made about it
