Jeff most of us here are from the same boat we try to fix everything first. I just order 2 new Norgren valves ($307) for my bus as one has a leaking end cap and the other I'm doing because I'm already in there and its 31 years old. My first thought was I'll take it apart and order a kit so searched for kits and the kits were close to the cost of a new one. No brainer there!
