So I just recently replaced my fuel pump on my generator. I will tell you that my pump would sound like its running but it was not pumping. Not sure if you have the same style pump but the carter pump mine had an internal magnet coupling and the pump would spin sometimes and then stop spinning with just the slightest amount of force put on the pump.

Jack just reminded me…. On my coach (316) the generator has a seperate fuel tank. If yours is similar I would manually check fuel level . The gauge may not be correct.

when I opened the banjo style bolt and hit the little lever I get fuel coming out of the lines. It’s only when I try to open the hard lines that I don’t get fuel at the fuel rail
