I dont know why HWH says to not interrupt the slide cycle. Trust me if it seems abnormal or sounds abnormal STOP !!!!!!!. Those hydraulics can cause a lot of grief in bending and smashing things.
PREACH!!!! I know first hand all about this.
I usually bump my slide out about a foot at a time.
