the answer is it depends which vintage newell. the classics have no clearance problems, the 90 to 2005/6 are very low at the backend. my 02 with the 2 1/2" mega hitch receiver is only 5-6 inches off the ground at ride height
the 07 and up i believe have alot more clearance at the rear.
