FINALLY......
608 is tucked inside the newell house and i have been working on her to get ready to go soon.
i had a neighborhood 16 year old cowboy come and help me polish the newell up. he worked with me for 5 hours and we firecoated the whole thing, cleaned the bays, windows in and out, engine and genny and polished the wheels. using the scissors lift to polish up high is really nice.
i changed the two microswitches on the bode air entrance door and shouldnt have any issues with the step not going up now. i hope anyway
it is awesome to have it inside, with the shop stereo on and pretend i am steve bare while polishing it.
