There is a couple wires that have burned up on the control board (pictured). Last year when I was at newell they put a switch on it to force it into to travel mode. I have been looking for a replace my box which doesn’t look like they ever come up for sale.
I have found a box that looks to be the same ap9651. It’s for the same 600 series units. Can anyone confirm or deny if this would work?? And I can retain my control pad that is already in here..
I know I can send it back for repair but I’m trying to minimize downtime
Did you see my video on this Dennis, probably the same problem. I just had another problem crop up that one of my front bags is not dumping air.

Dennis I live 50 miles from Newell in NW Arkansas, if your in the area stop by and I'll give it a shot on fixing it. I know electrical can be an area that some don't want to dive into.
Another good video Jeff!

If Jack offers to help you with an electrical issue, take him up on it. That’s like the Pope offering to say the blessing at dinner time.

I suppose only some of those wires need fixed. I think I can splice to new sections in and see if it works?? I have been using those weather tight connectors.. Worst case I have that override switch that newell put in that forces travel mode. I for some reason thought it was worse. More I look at it the more I think I can fix it

That should work, only thought is what caused them to burn up in the first place? Without knowing that, you risk them burning up again. Maybe they were chewed by a critter and that caused it but you will not know until you try to replace them. Not sure if there is a way to test them without knowing exactly what they go to.

FWIW, this is a Richard hack when working on unknown circuitry.
First I would get to good wiring on both sides of the burned and chewed stuff. Then I make jumpers with a blade fuse holder in the jumper. Any automotive store will have the blade fuse holders. A 5 or 10 amp blade fuse will protect the circuits from a direct short.

So to clarify. Put blade fuses on the burned and chewed wires?? I have the blade fuse holders already in my tool box in the coach

That is probably not a bad idea. This is where lever nuts come in handy to temporarily connect things for testing. I do not think you need to keep them in the circuit but at least to test for the first time it would be a good idea. I was trying to see if I could identify what those wires go to but they are not shown on the schematic. Keep in mind, some of the Wanderlodge guys told me that you can send that control box back to HWh and they will refurbish it. They said that they can also just supply a replacement, however at a cost and that may not be available now, not sure.

I'll see if I can make some progress on this tonight.
I just talked to HWH they said that is a "repair and return" number and the woman on the phone was pretty unhelpful about cost, time, and everything else. Sounded like I woke her up. Poor thing.
