we have a 1997 Newell Motorhome with a front slide out. The slide will not come in.
we are in Nashville, TN. Anyone in this area who can work on a slide out or know anything about the HWH control's ?

More info is needed.

When you turn the key, does the light go out?
Do you hear the pump in the bay under the driver seat run when you press the switch
Does the room try to move at all
Does the seal deflate

Hi Richard,
When we turn the key on for the slide, it comes on and when we turn the key off the light goes off
When we hit the switch to extend or close, we hear the motors working
The room will not move any direction
the seal is deflated at this time.

When this happened, we had the slide out, when we went to close the slide, the floor dropped down,
the slide started to move, then stopped. the rear of the slide started in and the front came in about 3 inches.
When talking back to Newell, they think the slide is off the track. They told us where to check to see if it is off track.

Thx for the additional info. Extend the slide. It has gotten cocked. That could be due to a hydraulic leak or mechanical impediment. Despite what the mothership told you, there is NO track for HWH slides.

Ensure the coach is in travel mode when operating slides.
