I left Canada when it was -22 Steers at 130 psi to go to the Rolex last year it was 40 degrees when I stopped for the night for probably 8-10 hrs AI says I damaged my steers because I lowered my tire pressure to 130 psi before for I started to drive the next day, that I should of left them at 140 I find this hard to believe. What would other people do

Thanks for the pictures Jesse, I had a blowout on our drive axle the very first day of ownership and it was like a bomb going off all the way in the back. I can't imagine it happening right under your seat! I would think the HWH is going to be repairable it looks better than I thought, more than likely loosened a solder joint or connector.

John. That is a nonsense answer from AI. The table says cold inflation at ambient temperature. AI came up with that answer thinking you were lowering the pressure of a hot tire.
Jesse Dont worry about funding. I would LOVE to see someone develop a replacement box because HWH is not the support group it used to be, and a replacement box could be a lifesaver for all, not just Newell, coaches with these control systems. Plus a replacement box could become a nice side hustle for someone

I had a similar blowout/hwh brain issue where I ended up hot wiring the travel solenoid to get back on the road home.
Since I am not an electronics guy, when I looked at the brain box I was certian it was destroyed. I had some other damage from the blowout and decided to let newell take care of it with insurance help.
When the box was sent to hwh, they said all boards were fine and bolted it all back for newell to install. So everything but assembly may be fine even though il looks like a pile of boards sitting on the bottom of box. During checkout all worked as expected. However as I left the facility about 20 miles away, the coach started leaning.
I headed back to newell and the lean got worse, but I made it. They checked everything out and a fuse was blown. Replaced the fuse, and I was off. Funny thing was, when hwh rebuilt the brain, they likely used different/ additional spacers for the boards and move the board closer to the aluminum cover. If you didnt guess, I could see where the cover shorted out on one of the boards.
I made more clearance, and added tape to the cover inside, and it has been smooth sailing since.

If this were to happen to me the seat would have to be replaced.
