Generator

How much fuel would it take to run the generator for 24 hours? I will be running it for 6-7 days and I want to make sure I can run it that long on a full 200 gallon tank of fuel.
Thank you

What size is the generator? What fuel does it burn? How much of a load will it be carrying? My 20,000 W diesel yanmar burns about 3 quarts/hour at a 50-70 % load.

It depends on loading and size of generator but I would say it would be close to burning the 200 gallons in 7 days. A 20KW generator at 50% load it would be about 1.2 gallons per hour. That’s 28.8 gallons for 24 hours, 201.6gallons for 7 days. This is all based on assumptions above.
