what the owner told me was that part of the brackets holding the door mechanism was anchored in the wheel well. it was hard to tell when i was looking at it because it was all ripped up in there. his wife told me she was following him in a pickup and that he didnt swerve and just slowly pulled over in about 300 yards or so.
i did get an email from them saying they thought they would be going yesterday afternoon. i will drive by there this morning and see.
like i said before, i offered any help they might need. to stay at our place or come here and plug in or any tools they might need. they had someone lined up to help them already. they were extremely nice folks. amazing they have been full timing for 26 years.
