While we are on steps. On the way home from Ark. rally we pulled into a road side park and as I was leaving I noticed in my wide angle mirror that my steps opened then closed and the same thing happened as I was entering the freeway. Didn't happen again. So after I got home I took the little button door switch apart and it looked OK but did have a little wear on tip of the plunger and also on the door. I took some thick rubber tape I had and formed it to the back side of the plunger, which brought it out about 1/32" and seem to have fixed the problem.
