Vintage Newell lengths - H.Lope - 09-04-2026

Can anyone tell me if any of the 1980s coaches were made in 35 foot lengths or less? I love these coaches, but don't want anything longer than 35.

My wife and I have a 1984 Newell that is 35' 2". Has a 6v92 turbo and an Allison transmission. Runs pretty good. It is the shortest one I have seen. My brother in law, Clarke Hockwald, has a 1982 that is 36'.

I've only come across one 80's Newell that was shorter than 36', and that is the 1984 my brother and sister-in-law own.. 35' (Glenn & Laureen Parker). Most are 38' and up.

We would love to get into something shorter about 35’ to fit in older campgrounds and state/national parks. I wonder how much it would cost just to have our coach shortened? (Just kidding)… BTW, HOWDY Clarke! Great to see you here… sent your blog to my wife and she will love living vicariously through you and Elaine!

Setup a Grok (or the AI of your choice) search nationwide for 35 to 40ft coaches of your brand preference and have it email only new listings each day - works great!
