Compressor - Robcubelo - 06-20-2026

Hi, my compressor in the front of the coach is running and running.  Feel a leak around the filter, I ordered a new one.  Unplugged it because it won't stop.  When I do, my other compressor turns on and won't stop.  The coach airs up fine.  Will go to Travel mode, will level in auto mode.  It just started doing this today.  Any advice is appreciated.  it is a 2004 coach, Valid system.  Air is coming out of the bottom of that nozzle non stop.  Can feel with finger. I uploaded a picture of that and also the other compressor that is running.

Mine was doing the same, it’s all leaking from that little filter. I removed it for now and it’s airing up just fine now. I have a plan to redo my 120v compressor so did not bother to get the replacement filter.

Hopefully once you replace the filter it will be fine. I had several of my brake relay valves under the coach that also were leaking at the bottom plastic purge valve.

When you turned off your 120 volt compressor that caused your 12 volt to turn on. The 120 volt compressor tank,  will supply air to the 12v tank through a check valve , The 120 has a higher turn off pressure so if it is working the 12 volt does not turn on. On 712 there is a check valve that stops the air from the 12 volt from leaking out of that water separator. That might be your only leak or you might have another one.
