Alaska
#11

Well we decided to purchase a trailer, the make is by Safari Condo out of Quebec Canada, the model is Alto model #F1743. It is all aluminum weight with all options is 1800 lbs. 17 ft. With solar panels nicely placed on the roof. Look at the other model #R1723 to see how they are located. I really liked the R1723 because of the unique power roof but because of that there was less storage area and the one we picked has a regular shower. It has yet to be built we should take possession on the 25th of October which is late for us here in NH. We happen to have a Quebec friend just down the road from the factory who also spends the winter At Senator Wash our winter spot and he has offered to transport it for us. So starting next mid April we will start our 7 month journey of Canada and Alaska with the Toyota FJ towing our little 17 ft Alto. The Alto has a European design type interior. For the most pics you can do a google image search.

I recently spoke with someone who purchased a used trailer and used that to travel to Alaska.
Interesting choice Brad. We've been discussing our plans to see Alaska and like most people are looking at driving our Newell, taking a cruise up (or down) and staying in hotels, etc., or buying a small trailer or class B/C.
If we buy a trailer or small motorhome then the kids could use it after our trip. Either way it'll be a year or two before we go.
