Hello to the group. I have decided to sell our 1990 Newell coach with a Detroit Diesel Silver 8V92TA and an Allison automatic transmission. This was originally built for Golden State Foods to serve as a corporate hospitality coach for NASCAR and other events. It was designed with front and rear lounge areas and a full bathroom / kitchen in the middle. I gutted the rear lounge area intending to make a bedroom in the back and rearrange the bathroom. In the process I have upgraded many items including a new Magnum Energy true sine wave inverter, a hardwired Surge Guard surge protector with automatic transfer switch and remote monitor, a porcelain Tecna macerating toilet with wall mounted controls, three new Coleman Mach Roughneck roof a/c's with heating elements and a central thermostat (three zones). The coach is equipped with a 12kw generator run by a 4 cylinder Kubota diesel engine. I have just replaced the steel main fuel tank with an aluminum unit, cleaned the fuel separators, and changed the filters. I also just had the engine ECM repaired and it has never ran better than it does now. It starts eagerly and has awesome power. Coolant and transmission fluid have been recently changed, Tires are older, but in excellent condition. As you see in the pictures I never got the rear area finished and my wife is tired of waiting. We just bought an Airstream travel trailer and this is now in the way. It is a project for sure. It has good bones, but needs a lot of TLC. All the worthy pieces I removed from the interior are stored in one of the lower compartments along with extra things I had purchased but not installed like LED light fixtures etc. I have all the original books/owners manuals and a set of blueprints for the coach. I just took this on a 350 mile round trip to North Central Wisconsin for some fine tuning of the ECM at Leid Diesel Service of Wisconsin and it ran/drove excellent. $13,000.00 OBO I am in Lake Mills, Wisconsin 53551. Welcome to the forum George and this sure looks like a deal, looks to have good bones and for someone handy it could be a fun project. Good luck with the sale and it will not last long I would bet. Could you post where this is located and how to contact you?
