Newell Rally
#1

Anyone considering this Rally in Grove OK? We've stopped at the RV park and it looks nice, I think a lot of Newell owners stop there on the way to the plant.

I would love to go depending on financial layout. This has been a very expensive year for us.

Amen to that, your welcome to stay here before the Rally, we've got some cool place to see in the area. We are about 30 miles from Grove and 15 grassy acres.

Thank you Jack! I showed my wife the possibility of the rally. She is all in once the final verdict is out. I plotted a course which will also continue past the rally afterwards towards TN to look at possible land. She is a CPA and October is her busy time with corporate returns. It was hard for her to get three weeks off last year when we went to NY. I did look into possibly booking a stay at the Grand but for each section in the park, they had one or two days already reserved. I could not get a full week at a premium lake spot, interior lot or regular lake view lot without moving around each day within the grounds.

Been to the Regatta a handful of times, including the 2021 Rally!  Mark and Teresa, the owners, are a class act and their resort has only gotten better over the past few years!

The next rally, I'm sure, will be highly chased after since so many of us had a great time and met lifelong friends because of it!

Yes, being only 30 minutes away from Miami makes it a prime spot for any type of service visit, shakedown, etc.

If you can't make the rally, I encourage you to book a stay there; you won't be sorry...if nothing else, for their fanastic food and rooftop restaurant with a view!

We've got a crazy fall with family and travel already, so it's not likely we'll make it...and that makes us sad.  Sad

Steve I've called and left 2 messages with no return yet guess I might have to take a drive over there and see whats going on.

Simon if you go to TN I would suggest HWY 60 in southern Missouri all the way across to KY then south to TN its beautiful and peaceful drive compared to HWY 40, Little Rock to Memphis sucks.

Well, it looks like our 1980 classic would love to make the trip and possibly tour the factory where she was born. We’ll be looking for the official invite into.

When you say you called, to whom are you referring, Jack? The Regatta to stay there? I can't imagine they didn't return your call immediately.

As to the rally info, that comes from Newell's marketing directly.

That’s very interesting the Newell rally is the week before the Wanderlodge rally. No way I am going to get two weeks off work though and I already have the Wanderlodge rally booked, maybe next year!

Yes sir the Regatta, first time I called nobody answered the phone, second time I waited for the answering machine I left a message but no one returned the call.

Just called again it goes immediately to the answering machine, left them another message.
