Help installing Air Force One reservoir - rossman - 02-19-2021

Hey Gang,
Need some help installing an Air Force One reservoir in my coach #763. I can tee in for the air supply, but having a little trouble with the metered air. My coach has a 3/8" DOT air line out the back for a trailer, but this goes from 0psi up to about 50psi with full brake pedal. My understanding is I need to tee in to the brake system for the metered air, as it goes down when applying pedal. I really don't want to crawl under coach. Has anybody done this, and can they give me some pointers?
Thank you,
Ross Daniels

Ross,

I do not know of “metered” air involved with braking system. The air in the brake system increases with pedal pressure.

The air in the park brake system decreases when the park brake is released.
