You are correct, you have the only classic Newell built after 1989 so I would think it would use the same bumpers as a 1986-1989 as long as it was from a wide-body (102" width).
Is your bumper missing or bent or the chrome coming off? The reason I ask is that other than trying to find a wrecked classic Newell to salvage the bumper, it might be easier to have your bumper re-plated with chrome. Those were really pretty bumpers.

Did Newell source the bumper from a truck? Or have it built specifically for them?

Actually Todd Flickma found a front and rear bumper set on eBay and we spilt the cost. He needed the front and I needed the rear. A former Newell owner had stored them in his barn for years. He bought them from Newell.

When I was restoring my 1978 somebody told me Newell used the same bumpers that were installed on some fire trucks.

It is very likely the bumper can be straightened and re-chromed to look like new. Check this out:

My classic bumpers are polished aluminum giving a chrome appearance. If yours are the same, I am certain they can be repaired.
Good luck,
